On Time Delivery

On Time Delivery

God delivers (rescues) us from those who want to harm us, fear and anxiety and the penalty of our sin. And His delivery is always on time.

During this pandemic, delivery services have been overwhelmed. One article that I read indicated that the increase in usage was actually 3 times what it was the year prior. A coronavirus Christmas season further burdens already stressed delivery services. Needless to say, this makes it even more difficult to get a delivery on time.

The good news is that God always delivers (rescues) and is always on time.

God’s timing and ways are perfect. “As for God, his way is perfect: The LORD’s word is flawless; he shields all who take refuge in him.” Psalm 18:30.

And His word tells us that (for those of us who love Him):

He will deliver and protect us. “Because he holds fast to me in love, I will deliver him; I will protect him, because he knows my name.” Psalm 91:14.

He will deliver (rescue) us from the wicked. “O you who love the LORD, hate evil! He preserves the lives of his saints; he delivers them from the hand of the wicked.” Psalm 97:10.

God will deliver (rescue) us from our fears and anxieties. “I sought the LORD, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears.” Psalm 34:4

He will deliver (rescue) us from the wicked and ruthless. “I will deliver you out of the hand of the wicked, and redeem you from the grasp of the ruthless.” Jeremiah 15:21.

He sends His Angel to encamp around and deliver us. “The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them.” Psalm 34:7.

He will rescue, protect, and answer us. And He will be with us in troubles and honor us with long life and salvation. “Because he loves me,” says the LORD, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.” Psalm 91:14-16.

And because of our precious Savior, He will deliver us from the penalty of our sin and the wrath to come. “…and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, Jesus who delivers us from the wrath to come.” 1 Thessalonians 1:10.

God is our deliverer. He delivers us from so much. Most of all, He delivers us from ourselves. We struggle with so much. We struggle with everything from fears and anxieties to sin and the threat of eternal separation from Him. But God is our deliverer and His ways and timing are perfect.

So, what does God require? Unlike delivery services, no signature is required. But He does ask us to trust Jesus as our personal Lord and Savior and live our lives to glorify Him. He also asks us to pray a simple prayer of repentance; one in which we express our regret for the way that we have rejected Him and ask Him to forgive us. Then, scripture says, “God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins.” (1 John 1:9).

Is God your deliverer? Or do you need a deliverer? Because God is waiting. His heart desires to forgive and deliver you. And all that He is asking is that you pray that simple prayer of repentance. If you are uncertain as to what that looks like, please go to our live preserver page (https://forgiven-n-loved.com/life-preserver/). There you will find a sample prayer like that. Once you are there, please pray that prayer (or a similar one). God loves and adores you and He wants to be your deliverer. Please pray that prayer and, once you have, reach out to me at Forgiven-N-Loved.com and let me know. Because I would love to be in prayer with and for you and to welcome you into the family of God!

Love ya!
