God Has a Plan

God Has a Plan

If you are a follower of Jesus Christ, you recognize the heavy responsibility of sharing the gospel with others. We know that God has a plan and that part of that plan is that we (followers of Christ) would share our faith with others.

“And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.”  Mark 16:15-16.

It is such a heavy weight that sometimes, when people do not come to know the Lord, we want to take responsibility.  We feel like we have done something wrong.  Or, we think that we aren’t good enough, smart enough, or gifted enough.  We make it about us and what we are capable (or incapable) of.  But that is of the enemy because he wants to shut us up! But remember, God has a plan.

So, if God has a plan, do you really think that the salvation of others depends on whether or not you and I will be obedient to God’s leading and share the gospel with them?  Would He really let the salvation of those He loved rest solely in the hands of a disobedient people? No!

God loves every single person so much that He gave His only Son to rescue us.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16.

And He is patient in waiting for us to repent and desire a relationship with Him.

“The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance”  2 Peter 3:9.

Nowhere in the scripture do we see that a person did not receive forgiveness because someone else failed to share the message with them.  In fact, the scripture says that God’s creation alone glorifies Him so much that no one will be able to stand before Him and say, “I didn’t know you were real.”

“For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.” Romans 1:20 (NLT).

So, what does happen if you refuse to share God with those around you?

Well, you are not pleasing your Heavenly Father for one thing.  But you also miss out on one of the most incredible blessings that you will ever know.

When you allow God to use you to minister to, comfort, encourage, or speak salvation to someone, your Spirit is so tremendously revived that you will look for more and more opportunities to do it!  Not to mention the joy and peace that we get from knowing that we are pleasing our Heavenly Father.

Jesus said, “Then he will answer them, saying, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to me.'” Matthew 25:45.

When we minister to, comfort, encourage or speak salvation to someone, we are doing it for the Lord, serving the one who gave His life for us.

So, when it comes to sharing our faith, God has a plan. It is to use our own personal testimonies (praising Him for all He has done for us) to rescue others from their sin and guilt. I don’t know about you, but I want to live out the plan that God has for my life.

If you have never shared your faith with someone, trust me, you are the one missing out.  And God will find someone else to do the job that you don’t want to do.  His will will be accomplished.

“Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things which have not been done, Saying, ‘My purpose will be established, And I will accomplish all My good pleasure’;” Isaiah 46:10.

Do you really want to stand before the one who rescued you and hear, “Why didn’t you tell them?”

Father God, we praise and thank you for our salvation. We praise and thank you that you are a God of mercy and grace. Father, thank you for your love for us. Forgive us when we shy away from sharing you with this lost and hurting world around us. Forgive us when we don’t minister to others, in the way that you have shown us in your word. Father, break our hearts for those around us that don’t know you. Those who are suffering in their sin and guilt. Those who are looking for the hope and peace that only you can provide. Father, make us bold! Use us to rescue them. Use us and our testimonies to free them from the bondage of sin. We love you and pray this in your precious name, Jesus.

Does the guilt and shame of your sin burden you? Have you had a hard time seeing Jesus in those around you? If you were offered a personal and intimate relationship with God, would you say yes?

God loves you dearly. He doesn’t want you to carry around guilt and shame. He wants an intimate and personal relationship with you. And He wants to spend all of eternity with you. If we will pray a prayer of repentance (from the bottom of our hearts), God says that He will forgive us. In fact, God promises in Jeremiah 29:13, “You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.”

We have a prayer of repentance outlined on our Life Preserver page (https://forgiven-n-loved.com/life-preserver/). Please click this link and go to our Life Preserver page. Once you are there, please pray that prayer. Not only does God want to forgive you, but He also wants to adopt you into His family. He wants to make you His own precious child. Please pray that prayer and, once you do, reach out to me at admin@Forgiven-N-Loved.com. I’d love to be in prayer with and for you and welcome you into the family.

Luv Ya!
