All Creation Cries Out.

Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. Matthew 24:42

I want to be very careful with this Particular blog. Because the scripture is very clear that no man (or woman) will know the day or the hour of the return of our Lord. And that includes ME! That being said, the scripture also tells us that we are to be watchful.

Unfortunately, when we begin to discuss Jesus return some people will tune out. They hold hard and fast to “no man will know the day or the hour.”

That is true, however lets look at Matthew 24:42 again, it says “watch”. If God intended for us to just wander along and not give any mind to the fact that Jesus was returning, He wouldn’t tell us to “watch”. We are also told to watch for our Savior’s return in Matthew 24:44, Matthew 25:13 and Mark 13:37. If God thought it important enough to tell us (more than once) to watch for our Savior, shouldn’t we watch? But for what?

For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be earthquakes in various places, and there will be famines and troubles. These are the beginnings of sorrows. Mark 13:8.

And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for this must take place, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are but the beginning of the birth pains.Matthew 24:6-8.

Revelation 6:7-8 discusses that there will be great famine, wars and even animals will behave differently and cause deaths.

No man will know the day or the hour, but God gives us signs to watch for. He even says that creation itself will be waiting with anticipation…

For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed. Romans 8:19

“There will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earth dismay among nations, in perplexity at the roaring of the sea and the waves, Luke 21:25

We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. 23 Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption to sonship, the redemption of our bodies. Romans 8: 22-23

19 For all creation is waiting eagerly for that future day when God will reveal who his children really are. 20 Against its will, all creation was subjected to God’s curse. But with eager hope, 21 the creation looks forward to the day when it will join God’s children in glorious freedom from death and decay. Romans 8:19-21 (NLT)

No man will know the day or the hour. But all of creation waits in anticipation and so should we.

As followers of Jesus Christ, we should live our lives as if Jesus were coming back this afternoon. We should pray without ceasing, repent continually and share the gospel with everyone we meet.

I don’t know when Jesus is coming back, but I do know that He is. I also know that He won’t be back until the very last person has heard the gospel. God is patient and desires that not one single person would perish (The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance. 2 Peter 3:9). People perish, not because God didn’t try, but because they rejected the only one who could save them…Jesus.

Jesus may not come back for 2000 more years, but there are still people in this time and place that need to hear about Him.

We clearly see creation crying out for Jesus return. I believe that God is still patiently waiting for the church to finish telling those who don’t know Him, about Jesus. So, what are we waiting for? Let’s hurry up and tell them. There is no time like the present, literally and figuratively.

I pray that during these difficult times, God would place His healing hand on our County, our State, our Nation and our world. God please continue to diminish the numbers of those effected by illnesses like Covid-19, but most of all I pray that He would heal the world of the sin that runs rampant. I pray that through us (the church), those who don’t know Jesus as their Savior, would see the peace, joy and hope that we (children of God) possess and that they would be drawn to Him. I pray that we would live today like is was our last day before Jesus return and that we would tell everyone that, we have an opportunity with, He is our source and our strength. Your will be done Father, be glorified!

If you do not know Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior and you fear the trials and illnesses of this world, and perhaps you even fear the return of Jesus Christ, I pray that you would go to our Life Preserver page (https://forgiven-n-loved.com/life-preserver/) and pray the prayer that is outlined there. There is nothing that we cannot face with Jesus Christ by our side. He wants to forgive you, love you and walk with you through this life. Please pray this prayer and once you have, reach out to me at admin@Forgiven-N-Loved.com.

Luv Ya!
