but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin. 1 John 1:7
God has blessed me so mightily. I lead a small women’s bible study and we meet every other week. None of us go to the same church, we range in age from late 20’s to mid 50’s, some of us grew up in the church, some didn’t (one of us was even wiccan at one point and you’d NEVER guess which one), some were raised in poverty and some with a degree of affluence. Although it probably sounds like, as a group, we wouldn’t have much in common I have to tell you that getting together with this small group of women brings me greater joy than I can even convey in words.
The thing that these women and I have in common, that binds us together, is the Holy Spirit and when we get together God is present (For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.” Matthew 18:20) and it is always a sweet, sweet fellowship.
These ladies make me laugh, cry, study the word of God harder, pray more, they are just an incredible blessing to me. But that is exactly what God intended (speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody with your heart to the Lord. Ephesians 5:19; These all with one mind were continually devoting themselves to prayer, along with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus and with His brothers. Acts 1:14).
Go desires that we would bind together, in Him (A new commandment I give to you that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. John 13:34) that we would fellowship with our brothers and sisters in Christ. He desires that we would fellowship with the body of our local church. That we would love them as the siblings in Him that they are. We have a lot to offer our family of God and they have a lot to bring to our lives as well.
God blesses, so much, the fellowshipping of brothers and sisters, who share things of the Lord, growing in His word and praying together!
But the greatest fellowship we will ever have is that which we have with our Precious Savior, Jesus Christ (God is faithful, by whom you were called into fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. 1 Corinthians 1:9).
God desires that we would have that fellowship with Him, that personal relationship, in which we can talk to Him whenever we want to (Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18), where He can speak to us (if we will just be still and listen) (Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. Jeremiah 33:3), and we have the incredible blessing of knowing that He will never leave or forsake us (It is the LORD who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.” Deuteronomy 31:8).
I pray that we would desire, and pursue, the deep and wonderful fellowship that you can only get when gathered together with siblings in Christ. I pray that we would have an even greater desire and pursuit of that Sweet, Sweet Fellowship that can only be obtained through a right relationship with Jesus Christ. I pray that we would bind together with both the body of Christ and our Precious Savior and that together we would begin to grow stronger in our faith and love for one another and (most of all) our love for Him.
If you do not know Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior and have never experienced the kind of sweet, sweet Fellowship that we have been discussing, I pray that you would go to our life preserver page (https://forgiven-n-loved.com/life-preserver/) and pray the prayer that is outline there. Our Heavenly Father desires that you would walk with Him, talk with Him and fellowship with Him, by the blood of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Once you have prayed the prayer outline there, please reach out to me at admin@Forgiven-N-Loved.com and let me know so that I can be in prayer for you and hopefully help you grow in your relationship with and knowledge of our precious Savior Jesus Christ.
Luv Ya!
